How to become an IB officer?

The full form of IB ACIO is Intelligence Bureau Assistance Central Intelligence Officers. The examination is organized by the Indian Home Ministry for recruitment to these posts. Candidates passing this will be in Grade-II in Intelligence Bureau. Are appointed to Group C posts. And the examinations are conducted at the national level.

IB Security Assistant :

The candidates who are selected on this post work as security assistants. IB Officer Selection Process :

  • To get recruited in the Intelligence Bureau, one has to pass the recruitment examination. This examination is divided into Tier-1, Tier-11 and Interview.
  • Tier-1 consists of four sections, it consists of objective questions. Those who pass this examination appear in Tier-11 examination

IB Security Assistant- The officer selected on this post gets a pay scale of Rs 55000 per month to Rs 200000 per month plus Grade Pay-2000 (PB) (intelligence bureau salary). Salary may be more or less depending on the posts.
